Adaptive Sport in Ghana

Boosting is the term used to describe a unique form of "doping". Athletes with disabilities will harm themselves in order to produce an adrenaline rush. Athough rare it is still a problem and needs to be carefully monitored.
Paralympic athletes with intellectual disabilities
After being banned from competition following the Sydney Paralympic Games athletes with intellectual disabilities are being allowed back into competition. Although their total numbers are only around 120 they will be closely watched to ensure their is no more cheating.
